We visit the region

For its landscape dotted with castles, Romanesque churches, lavish mansions, picturesque villages, which calls for a continually renewed walk through the seasons. Malagar domain, where François Mauriac lived, and Château Malromé in Verdelais, last home of the painter Toulouse-Lautrec, invite you to continue the ride.

And to discover Saint-Macaire, fortified town and the Garonne port, installed by the Romans and with the "Wines of Privilege ", it was adored by the British and was royal town of England in 1341.
