They are vinified

They are vinified in stainless steel tanks or oak barrels. The vinification is followed by great attention because producing a sweet wine is a precision job. But the charm of Loupiac is also the multiplicity of producers who make wines with very different personalities and all very endearing.

The Harvest

What you must remember

The Romans were the first to take advantage of this exceptional terroir for cultivating vines. Rich patricians appreciated the charms of the landscape as they got some “villas” built. One can still see the remains of one of them and its thermal baths. It would have belonged to the poet Ausonius.

We savor...

As an aperitif, cool, all year.

It is surprising

Every year in November, on the occasion of the châteaux’ open doors, the appellation Loupiac gets paired with foie gras for a gourmet weekend!

We visit the region

which has lovely Romanesque churches, rolling hills and a beautiful view of the Garonne valley.
