What you must remember

This is the only AOC Bordeaux with the requirement of bottling at the château and its wines also have an aging potential!

We

Their golden yellow and topaz color, aromas of white flowers, apricot, citrus fruit ... Fruity, nervous and racy.

We savor...

between 8 and 10° C (46 to 50 F) for an aperitif, with melons, foie gras, white meats, poultry, fine fish in sauce and soft cheese, not so sweet desserts and Asian cuisine.

It is surprising

Cadillac, the American car firm, is named after the Chevalier de Lamothe-Cadillac, Louisiana Governor and founder of the city of Detroit.

We visit the region

to discover Cadillac, the only fortified town located along the Garonne. A picturesque historic city founded in 1280, where stands the château of the Duc d'Epernon, a prestigious monument but also infamous for becoming one of the toughest prisons for women from 1818 to 1890. Nearby, the medieval city of Rions, in the Malagar domain, where François Mauriac lived and the château Malromé à Verdelais, last home of the painter Toulouse-Lautrec, invite you to continue the journey.
