CAP on Japan, the sweet and fruity wines of Bordeaux in the rising country!


For the first time, a delegation of winemakers and merchants will realize events for professionals and the press in Japan.

On November 2, 2017, a lunch will be organized at the restaurant Maxivin.

It will present Japanese dishes with 8 different AOP of Bordeaux sweet wines.

Then a seminar will be conducted by SATO YOICHI, recognized sommelier at the “Artisan de la Truffe” shop.

It will be followed by special master classes with producers coming to Japan and a tasting open to professionals.


Japanese food blends very well with the Bordeaux sweet wines. It’s a real opportunity for the Bordeaux sweet wines.

Moreover, Bordeaux’s export volume of sweet wine grew by 62% between 2009 and 2016 for Japan.
