The French horse sector participates in the French day races in Wuhan by setting up LeCheval Tribune to bring a French touch.

As part of the French Day races at the Wuhan racecourse on May 21, 2017, an official delegation from the French horse industry travelled to the site.

In addition, LeCheval Tribune has been set up alongside the slopes with a French garden party style: deckchairs, lawns, picnic baskets … Everything has been done to recreate an elegant ambiance of the French racecourses. 40 lucky French and Chinese horse lovers had the privilege of enjoying an afternoon of racing with a much-appreciated French touch.

LeCheval has also partnered with the city of Sauternes and the GOLDEN WINES of Bordeaux to introduce its guests to the greatest wines of Bordeaux in its Tribune.

The Mayor of Sauternes and the manager of L & C Vins, Jean Compeyrot made the trip to attend this special day full of exchanges and collaboration.

Wuhan Racecourse is considered one of the most modern in China. Created over 10 years ago, 20 race meetings are registered in the 2017 racetrack program with a strong period between March and June. The racecourse finances race prizes from 30,000 RMB to 500,000 RMB mainly through sponsorship and grants from the local government.

“It was a superb cooperation operation for equine sports between the wines of Bordeaux, Sauternes and Wuhan. “

Mr. Philippe Martiner, Consul General of France in Wuhan

“As a representative of the French horse industry, LeCheval is always present at major horse and equestrian events in China alongside Chinese organizers. In particular, we are closely following the evolution of horse racing in strategic cities such as Wuhan. “
