Eat! Brussels, Drink! Bordeaux 2015: Bordeaux wines are in Belgium
From the 10 to the 13 September, Brussels restaurateurs and Bordeaux winemakers will be waiting for you at Parc de Bruxelles, for four days of sharing and discovering.
To go with your eat! token or simply to taste a glass of sweet and fruity white wine, go to the Bordeaux Sweet White Wines pavilion.
Eat! Brussels 2015 hosts the wines of Bordeaux
For the 4th edition of Eat! Brussels, the wines of Bordeaux are guests of honor once more. Six tasting pavilions will be dedicated to the various Bordeaux appellations, which will be served by about fifty wine professionals. On the stall dedicated to the Bordeaux Sweet White Wines, some winemakers will be there to make sure you enjoy the diversity of their terroirs. Wines that fall under the Sauternes, Graves Supérieures, Loupiac, Premières Côtes de Bordeaux, Sainte-Croix-du-Mont and Cadillac appellations will be on offer to be tasted.
Tasting Pass, the different formulas
To make the most of the Bordeaux wines, you will need to buy a Pass, available throughout the weekend. There are different formulas on offer:
- the Wine Pass (14 € pre-sale, 17 € on site) contains 10 tasting tickets and an iniciation session at the Ecole du vin de Bordeaux pavillion.
- You want to eat on site? The Solo Pass For One (25 € pre-sale) is made of 10 tasting tickets and 18 eat! tokens.
- You enjoy sharing? You can get a Duo Pass for Two for 65€ pre-sale (20 tastings, 46 eat ! tokens and 2 drinks)
- Finally, to have lunch on site, the Lunch Pass (12 eat ! tokens, 2 « Coup de Cœur » tickets for the wine and 2 drinks) is sold 12 € pre-sale)
Eat! Brussels, Drink! Bordeaux for the professionals
The event is open to all from Thursday 10 September, but it is open professionals beforehand. On Wednesday 9 September, the party will open its doors to the Cercle Gaulois from 13:30. The wine professionals will attend a trade tasting. The Cercle Royal Gaulois Artistique et Littéraire is a true institution in Brussels, it gathers all forms of art. So it was logical to talk about the enjoyment of Bordeaux wines tasting there. The next day, at midday, the press professionals will be there between 11:30 and 14:30, to share a food and wines pairings themed lunch.
